ORDERING PROCESS

Q: I would like a logo design from you. How do I start?

A: Please go to our order page and follow the instructions. All you need to do is choose a logo design plan (1, 2 or 3), place a payment ($19, $29 or $49) and send us project questionnaire.

Q: Is it safe to pay you online and what are the payment options?

A: We process all the payments through reputable 2Checkout.com company so the maximum of security is guaranteed. We don’t have any access to customers’ sensitive information such are credit card numbers. You can pay online with any major credit card or through PayPal, which is one of the available billing options at 2Checkout.com. Whichever logo plan or billing method you choose there won’t be any hidden or additional fees and all payments will be one-time fee.

Q: How long will it take for you to design me a logo?

A: Each logo is delivered in up to 7 working days, usually less than that. An average delivery time is less than 48 hours (this doesn’t apply to orders made at Friday afternoon though). Before going to vacation we post a clear notification on our order page so unless stated otherwise, a 7 day delivery time is guaranteed.

Q: Do you offer any discount for large orders?

A: Officially every 10th logo design goes for free but we usually go an extra mile for returning customers no matter the order volume. If you are a potentially very regular customer (domainers, web entrepreneurs, affiliate marketers) we can possibly arrange an additional discount for you. However, before any large order we suggest that you test the waters with a small (1-2 logos) order.

LOGO DESIGN WORK AND LOGO DESIGN FILES

Q: Do you use any logo templates during the design process?

A: No, every logo design is unique and made from scratch. Here and there you may find logos with a clipart graphics (also produced by us, we also create clipart and run a network of vector clipart sites) but those were created for customers that requested and/or approved usage of clipart graphics.

Q: What are dimensions of the final logo version and which graphics file formats do you provide the designs in?

A: All our designs are 100% vector graphics so we can export the final designs in literally any size or format. By default you will find the following files in the final design delivery package:

EPS: completely scalable vector graphics file that you can edit in any vector-based application such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Adobe Photoshop can also import EPS graphics (resizable but not fully editable). This is the most valuable file in the package – some logo designers charge additionally for it and the others can't even provide it

PSD: high resolution RGB bitmap file, 3000 px width at 300 DPI, one layer, transparent background; good for most of the printing jobs and compatible with many online print stores

PDF: vector PDF file, almost as good as EPS. This is print stores’ preferable graphics file format. Compared to EPS its advantage is that can be opened with Adobe Reader, which is both great and free (even if you don’t know what Adobe Reader is, all the chances are that you already have it installed).

PNG: transparent low-resolution RGB file for web use, delivered in any requested size (default is 260 px width)

JPG low-resolution RGB file for web use, delivered in any requested size (default is 260 px width). As far as the logos go JPG is pretty much the thing of the past but we still provide it as many users still ask for it. We suggest you to use PNG for the web, however.

If you require GIF, TIFF, BMP (all are pretty much obsolete but some still use it) or any other format - just let us know, we will include them in the final package at no additional cost.

Q: I already have a logo but I need it polished and/or vectorized. Do you provide such services?

A: Yes, let’s see what you have and we’ll let you know if it can be vectorized and improved and at what price. Please don't place any payment before you hear back from us.

DELIVERY, REFUND POLICY AND COPYRIGHTS

Q: How are the logo files delivered and what if I lose original logo files?

A: We are going to email you a download link. If you lose the files and/or link we will resend it to you at no additional cost.

Q: Who owns the copyright on logo design?

A: The customer gets all rights on the logo. We only reserve portfolio showcase rights. As this is standard copyright policy we don’t issue any special paperwork related to it but if you need an official document on paper we can issue it for you at small additional cost.

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: As long as we provided design in a timely manner, we don’t give any refund for $19 logo orders. For $29 and $49 logo design plans we offer $10 refund which you may request after receiving initial designs (before the revision round).

Q: What if I ordered $29 or $49 logo design plan and don’t need any revisions, do you offer partial refund?

A: No, and it’s only because we have a limited number of allowed refund requests per month at our payment processor. You can however request additional logo version in exchange for an unused revision round or you can use it with another logo project with 19 Dollar Logos.
